Root Beer Reviews

Jonathan and I have been talking about me doing a series of Root Beer reviews for awhile. I'm gonna try to bang out a couple this week before I disappear to UM Army and then to New Hampshire.

I hope, eventually, to have a complete list of every important root beer catalogued.

I emailed you my suggestions on the 3 mediums in which all root beer should be tested.

we should do some testing while you are back on local brands (polar, shaws, hannaford, etc).

There are some New England craft root beers as well. I would guess there are hundred of brands.

And there's always A&W, which is having its 90th anniversary this very weekend.

Heidi suggests a root beer tasting the week you are back.

ooh. A couple of suggestions: Virgil's, Frostop, Sioux City (and also try their Sarsaparilla), and if you want something different, try Tommyknockers.

And maybe for another post you could do some birch beer.

I second the birch beer motion. But seriously, if you want good, draft root beer, you need to come down to visit me and try the root beer at Wild Willy's Burgers. Sooo good!
